Girls in SCIENCE
(Seeing, Creating, Inventing, Exploring, Naming, Cooperating, and Experimenting) program for youth in grades 3-6.

Meet UWRF professors, scientists, and science students, and experience four STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities from 8:15am to 12:15pm. Check-in (8am) and pick-up (12:20) at UWRF Hagestad Hall.

Indicate t-shirt size when registering (YS, YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, AXXL).

Space is limited to 48 participants, registration open until April 1 or until full.

This event is co-sponsored by the UWRF Physics Dept, UWRF Women's & Gender Studies Program, Allina Health, and the American Association of University Women (AAUW) - River Falls.

Bring to Class:
Attendees are encouraged to bring a water bottle and to wear comfortable shoes. A snack will be provided. Check in and drop off will be at Hagestad Hall on the UW-River Falls campus, 262 E. Cascade Avenue. Parking is free on Saturdays in the parking lot across from Hagestad.
Each participant will receive a take-home bag of items donated by local companies and institutions.
