Description:

Historical fencing is the practice of resurrecting the fighting methods of the past, through study of sources written at the time they were used. In this class you will learn very basic use of the two-handed sword/longsword and other weapons, and the history of German Renaissance martial arts. Practice equipment provided (foam-padded swords), but no contact will occur in this class.
